Third Roadside Theater visit

• Training in staging simple script
• Volunteers read Weaving the Thread of Community, small portraits of four communities, connected by a song

November 2000
Fourth Roadside Theater visit

• Training in staging a more elaborate script, Varying the Pattern
• Varying the Pattern, is performed by volunteers and professional storytellers at Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum
  

Winter 2000 - 2001
The Patapsco Players begin to form as a storytelling troupe

• Script Varying the Pattern is rewritten for three performers
  
• The Players, with other volunteers, perform a staged reading of A Winter's Feast at the Howard County Center for the Arts

Spring 2001
The Patapsco Players perform a staged reading of a short script, Inside the Memory Box, and a blocked production of A Completely Different World at the University of Maryland Baltimore County Library
