Zuni Meets Appalachia

In February 2003, The Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian in New York City and Washington, DC presented Idiwanan An Chawe of Pueblo Zuni, NM and Roadside Theater of Whitesburg, KY in Zuni Meets Appalachia, a 45-minute performance, for children and families, of traditional and original stories and music from two of our nation's most traditional cultures -- Zuni Native American and Appalachian

Performances were held at the National Museum of the American Indian, George Gustav Heye Center at One Bowling Green in New York City and at the National Museum of American History Carmichael Auditorium on The National Mall in Washington, DC.
