Connecting Californians Roadside's director, Dudley Cocke, worked with a small research team sponsored by the San Francisco-based Irvine Foundation to create Connecting Californians. The publication reports opportunities to use the arts to build civic participation and bridge social differences, while simultaneously strengthening core aesthetic competencies.
